In Progress Aerial Perspectives

After brainstorming what makes certain objects look further away in nature, and gathering much of their own source imagery, students created aerial perspective landscapes in colored pencil. They were required to represent depth through reduced size and color saturation of objects, as well as the placement of those objects in relation to the horizon line. Students had the option to make these landscapes surreal, adding symbolic or conceptual imagery within their work.
