Ball Point Pen Design Homework
Recycled Materials
Students have been investigating the environmental concerns posed by plastics and litter. These materials are detrimental to our ecosystems and climate. Since watching BBC's Message In The Waves and discussing plastic's effects on marine sea animals and birds three weeks ago, students have collected 128 plastic bottles to reuse in art sculptures! Our ultimate goal is 200 bottles, and then we will begin painting and assembling our sculpture.

Starting Our Mural!!
Now that students have decided on Under the Sea as the theme for their mural, they started
to develop it. Each student submitted pictures of underwater animals,
plants, and habitats to add to our design.
Then I placed the images into an attractive composition. I will outline their work and students will paint the mural.
